Be a Part of a Team

Why run or walk alone when you could be part of a team? A team is group of friends, co-workers, families or group members that pre-registers, raises money and walks or runs together in the Furry 5K on Sunday, June 20th, 2010.

Walking or running as part of a team is a great way to build camaraderie in the workplace or spend quality time with family and friends. It’s also a great way to join together to raise money for the Help The Animals Fund. As a team, set a fundraising goal and encourage one another to collect donations (no amount is too small!)

Team registration is easy using Active.com’s online registration site. Just log on and then click the ‘Create Your Team’ icon. The team captain can create register their team online, invite others to join, view their team roster, email team members, update team information and download team reports all from one location.

Early Race Packet Pick-Up

Avoid the registration table crowds on race day by picking up your team race packets which include: t-shirt, bib number, goody bag and timing chip (if you are being timed) on Saturday, June 19th. You can stop by the upper level of the Seattle Animal Shelter between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please bring a photo ID and/or the e-mail confirmation you received if you registered for the race online.

All team captains are strongly encouraged to pick up their team members' race packets during this time. Please note that team captains are responsible for distributing the packets to their team members.

The Seattle Animal Shelter is located at 2061 15th Ave. West.
