Join us for The Seattle Animal Shelter’s Furry 5K Fun Run and Walk!

Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Seattle’s Seward Park (Get directions!)


Join the fun as thousands of people run and walk with their dogs to raise money for the Seattle Animal Shelter’s Help the Animals Fund!


Timing for the event is available for those interested runners.

Early / Pre-Registration

Two ways to register:
  1. Online: Pre-register online
  2. In-Person: You can register in-person at the following location from May 15 through June 7 (close of business).

Registration Fees

  • Early Bird Registration through April 21st: $35.00 per person with t-shirt
  • In-person Registration May 15th through June 7th: $45.00 per person with t-shirt
  • Online Registration April 22nd through June 7th: $45.00 per person with t-shirt
  • Day-of-Race Registration: $55.00 per person* Checks/cash preferred.
    *Race t-shirt not guaranteed for Day of Race registrants

Race Packet & T-shirt Pick-Up - 2 Ways to Pick-up:

Pre-registered participants can pick up their race packets and t-shirts:

  • 1. Early packet pick-up: to be advised.
  • 2. Race Day Packet pick-up: to be advised

Collect Donations

Registering is the first step in helping the animals. To make an even bigger impact, we encourage you to collect donations from your family, friends and colleagues. The top individual and team fundraisers will even win prizes. If every participant collected just one $100 in pledges, we’d raise over $150,000!

Timing and Results

  • Timing and results by Nomadz Racing
  • Results will be posted at the finish line and on this website
  • Walkers will not be timed

Safety Counts

  • No retractable leashes
  • Leashes no longer than 8 feet (Seattle Municipal Code)
  • No dogs under 6 months
  • No female dogs in heat
  • No aggressive dogs
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times
  • All dogs must be current on vaccinations
